Highway Cricket Club is an amateur cricket club in Tile Hill, Coventry, Warwickshire. Founded in 1883 their 1st XI is currently in Warwickshire Cricket League division 1, after many years in the Warwickshire Cricket League Premier and before that the Birmingham and District Cricket League. They run 2 further sides on Saturdays. After years of success with famous players such as New Zealand international (Shayne O'Connor ), Pakistani Moin Mumtaz who dismissed Jacques Kallis in (1994 ) and Warwickshire bowler (Neville Bulpitt ), they have begun to slip down the leagues. They reached a new low on (13 July 2015 ) with a dismal 143 run defeat away at Standard CC. In recent years (Grant Thornton ) has left for Leamington CC, Jamie Marsh to Leamington CC 2nd XI, whilst others have left for Tile Hill's biggest club Standard CC. Highway CC are now relying on Medium Pace plodder (Tom Yardley ) and specialist fielder (Michael Convery ). Now often struggling for a 3rd XI, and even a tea lady, there are rumours of a merger with Warwickshire Cricket League Division 54 West club Meriden Spartans. One huge benefit for the Highway Club is the fact that they have (not one, not two, but) three bars. Had it not been for this fact, there's a very reasonable chance that many other players would have left for Standard CC. They unfortunately do not have any. ==Notable Current Players== Website: (Highway Website ) 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Highway Cricket Club」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
